Honoring the Angels Booster Club . . .
Angels Booster Club president Rob Holman and past president Russ Frazier are shown after receiving the "Community Caring Award" at the PCAA award ceremony, in recognition of the club's generous donations to the "at risk" youth segment in Orange County.  Since 1998 the Angels Booster Club has designated the

Probation Community Action Association as the recipient of the Booster Club Toy Drive, where members and volunteers work diligently throughout the year to acquire thousands of toys from various events.

In 2002, PCAA received approximately $15,000. value in toys and backpacks for the Christmas season.

The Angels Booster Club Toy Drive has benefited hundreds of youths and their families and made the Christmas Holiday happier for so many families who would not have been able to celebrate the season due to economic challenges.

The Angels Booster Club was honored because the club exemplifies the true meaning of the Spirit of Giving and Caring

Throughout the year the Booster Club supplies sleeping bags for youths and their families who are without beds, and sleeping on the floor.

The Booster Club was also recognized for the many other measures of giving, such as the annual Blood Drive, and Food Drives for the needy.

OC Sheriff Michael Carona, second from right in photo above, was also honored at the PCAA award ceremony with the "Heart of Probation Award
